Effective: July 1st, 2025
Effective July 1st, 2025, qualified employers under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) must adopt written biometric policies, as well as obtaining consent before using or collecting employees’ (or prospective employees’) biometric information.
To comply with the new requirement, Vida HR has written a Biometric Data Privacy and Security policy that is in line with the CPA.
