Wyoming Expands Concealed Carry Locations

Effective: July 1, 2025

Wyoming has passed the Repeal Gun Free Zones Act (H.B. 172), which expands where individuals can legally carry concealed weapons. Effective July 1, 2025, individuals who are lawfully permitted to carry a concealed weapon in Wyoming may do so in:

• Government property

• Legislative meetings

• Public buildings

• Non-prohibited areas of public airports

• Public schools, colleges, and universities

Important Note:

Private property owners retain the right to prohibit firearms on their premises.
